Come December, you will be able to dress like Lisbeth Salander, the dark and urban anti-heroine of David Fincher's version of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
Working together with the film's costume designer Trish Summerville, H&M will release a 30-piece collection consisting of leather jackets and pants, torn jeans and slouchy hoodies in a mainly black, grey, and worn-white color palette.
"Salander's look is very real and very lived in, with pieces that her character has worn for a long time, like her jackets that act as her armour to shield her from the world. I wanted the collection to have the essence and strength of Salander, with a fashion edge...," Summerville said in a statement.
"The clothes are all about the attitude -- they have a toughness to them but they are also really flattering," added Anna Norling, designer for H&M's Divided range, which will host the collaboration.Launching exclusively at Parisian concept store Colette on November 28, the collection will be available worldwide and online from December 14.
